Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actress as well as a board member of SSC since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the recently established theater firm Speech of Fire. She worked as the Artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. She was also the producer and costume designer, as well as composer/musician as well as a text coach for SSC in her capacity as its Artistic Director. However, she mostly directed from within the ensemble of actors in her final year she started her journey as a director (and lighting designer) in the SSC's King Lear. The school she attended was Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. On a personal note Post was previously married with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband from 1982.
