Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actress as well as a board member of SSC since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the recently established theater firm Speech of Fire. She worked as the Artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. She was also the producer and costume designer, as well as composer/musician as well as a text coach for SSC in her capacity as its Artistic Director. However, she mostly directed from within the ensemble of actors in her final year she started her journey as a director (and lighting designer) in the SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Apart from acting, she's also worked on a number of game shows. She is the daughter of the scientist Richard F. Post and his wife poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her two siblings. She was a student at Las Lomas High School where she participated in cheerleading. The school she attended was Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. On a personal note Post was previously married with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband from 1982. They have two daughters. Post an amazing actress, as well as a wonderful wife and mother she is an inspiration to the majority of Hollywood famous actors.
